Accountable for developing software code and associated life cycle deliverables for PC and Mainframe applications. Interprets process, data modules, and business requirements into software code.
Analyzes, designs, develops, implements and maintains moderate to complex computer programs and subsystems. Performs all of the steps required to design, test, and code such programs. Develops procedures and operating instructions, and successfully moves programs into production.
Provides production support through problems analysis and resolution to correct deficiencies. Performs assignments under direct supervision.

Analyze problem or new request; design problem or new request resolution; familiar with SDLC methodologies; develop program specifications; design testing requirements; code modules according to specifications and client standards; prepare test plan and test modules; develop program and system documentation; conduct program and system implementation; maintain application production environment; respond and resolve production problems; and respond and resolve user inquiries.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or equivalent training or work experience. Minimum of two years as a software developer.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The individual will field or assist in the fielding of Cisco networking architecture and solutions, modifications and upgrades for HQ USMEPCOM\. In addition, the candidate will be required to serve as a subject matter expert/TIER 3 expert in the assigned area of responsibility\. The individual must be familiar with Cisco networking products, technologies and concepts\. The candidate must have familiarization with engineering, administrating, and securing various Cisco networking solutions and applications\. Qualifications BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: + 5 years of Enterprise Level experience in Cisco Network Engineering Support + DoD 8570\.01\-M IAT Level II \(Security \) certification and associated CE certificate + Possess CCNA Routing and Switching/Security certification + Two years’ experience supporting Secure Web Gateway Server in an Enterprise environment\. + Experience with Symantec BlueCoat Secure web gateway; Cisco Umbrella; Titan HQ Web Titan Cloud; F5 Big\-IP Secure Web Gateway + Posses an active Public Trust or higher clearance DESIRD QUALIFICATIONS: DESIRDQUALIFICATIONS: + Posses an active secret/higher clearance + Prior DoD or Army working environment experience a plus + Experience/certification in one or more of the following services: CCNP Routing and Switching/Security with computing environment certification illustrating a minimum of five years Enterprise Level experience in Cisco Network Engineering Support\. + 5 years of experience engineering, design and implementation in Cisco networking hardware + Technical degree relevant to position description + Knowledge of IA controls + Strong troubleshooting and conflict resolution skills + Experience with Army IT Systems Work Environment and Physical Demands: Normal office environment\.
