Florida SouthWestern State College is accepting resumes in search of a Web Applications Developer I to join our exceptional team. This is a professional, responsible position that plays an integral role in providing expertise and College-wide consulting services in the analysis, development, and delivery of enterprise web applications and processes.

Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in Computer Information Systems or a similar Information Technology program. Appropriate combination of education and experience may be substituted. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with modern frontend languages and frameworks used in web applications such as HTML, CSS (SASS, SCSS), and JavaScript (React, Vue.js). Demonstrated knowledge and experience with modern backend languages and frameworks used in web applications such as PHP (Laravel, CodeIgniter), JavaScript (Node.js), Python (Django, Flask), or Rust (Actix Web, Rocket). Proficiency in any flavor of SQL such as MySQL, Oracle SQL, or PostgreSQL Familiarity with the concepts of containerization (Docker, Podman), and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.

Knowledge and experience with Linux. Knowledge and experience in web application security, vulnerabilities, and hardening. FSW Employee Benefits feature:
