Salary: $70,000 to $76,000 annual (Depending on qualifications)
The Web Applications Analyst is responsible for the establishment and maintenance of methods and procedures for web application development. Promotes the development of other IT staff members in web-related areas; analyzes, designs, develops, and documents web-related computer information systems, serves as project leader to guide systems through programming, testing, and implementation and provides ongoing support to users through maintenance and troubleshooting.

General supervision is provided by the Senior Programmer Analyst.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement intranet and internet standards and procedures using best practices in systems application development working to create a product delivery lifecycle, and the proper lifecycle process and procedures that ensure a good change control and issue management for such applications.
Support and develop custom scripts to automate systems administration tasks including database maintenance, monthly web reports, server log monitoring, and testing and deployment of applications.
Assist other departments in developing websites and other internet capabilities.
Plan, prioritize, assign, and review work of division staff; assist in the identification and resolution of problems; assign and monitor work activities; review and evaluate work products, methods, and procedures; assist in technical staff development and continuing education.
Recommend and assist in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies and procedures for the Division.
Provide secondary support for network administrative and other IT services where appropriate.
Conduct needs assessments and provide analysis to end users recommending automated solutions to problems where appropriate.
Design and maintain corporate internet/extranet utilizing PHP/MySQL/MSSQL.
Maintain and enhance all corporate web-based tools and applications including third party and internally developed applications.
Administer internet services and security on Windows and Linux servers.
Assist in development of personal computer standards and procedures.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field is preferred. Four years of work experience in business application web programming may be substituted for the bachelor's degree.
A minimum of two years of experience in business application web programming is required.
A minimum of one year of project lead experience is required.
Experience with PowerBI or Tableau is preferred.
Experience with Crystal Reports or SSRS is preferred.
A minimum of one year of experience in the design of major business computer systems is preferred.
Experience with MySQL/Maria, Microsoft SQL Server or similar RDBMS is preferred.
Experience in the design and programming of computer applications in a team-oriented environment is preferred.
Experience in government focused Enterprise Resource Planning systems it preferred.
When assigned to Criminal Justice Information Services Data:
Employee will not have a record of being convicted of a Class B misdemeanor or higher offense in order to work with and view Criminal Justice Information Services data.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES
Possession of a valid driver's license.
Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
