Web Application Developer, Senior

Key Role:

Serve as a full stack Web application developer on a team of approximately 40 technical staff to support the creation of applications ranging from rapid prototypes to enterprise-level service offerings for DoD clients. Analyze requirement definition and system design plans, investigate and identify new technologies to incorporate within the architecture, construct clean and efficient code to meet client requirements, adhere to team standards, monitor code execution to ensure performance thresholds are met, and react to security review feedback by providing necessary patches to maintain the security posture of the system. Work as part of a diverse delivery team, including system administrators, security engineers, application testers, project managers, and client subject matter experts.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience with object-oriented programming languages, including C#, Java, or Python in a professional work environment

  • Experience with providing oversight to junior staff through code reviews, design discussions, and task planning

  • Experience with client or server-side Web development

  • Knowledge of software development and object-oriented programming concepts

  • Ability to architect software solutions with little technical guidance

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • BA or BS degree in CS

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with any of the following technologies, languages, and frameworks in a professional work environment: C#, Entity Framework, ASP.NET MVC, IIS, HTML/5, SCSS/CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Angular, Backbone/Marionette, gulp, TFS, or git

  • Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases

  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or a similar Cloud computing environment

  • Knowledge of client and server-side Web technologies and protocols

  • Knowledge of common application and Web design patterns

  • Active Secret or Top Secret clearance

You are a part of: The CV Ultrasound Product Application Specialist is the key interface between Philips and our customers. This position will represent the company and products while continually providing total solutions to customer needs. As a CV Ultrasound Product Application Specialist with Philips Healthcare, no two days are the same. One day you may be delivering a custom-made educational/training program at a major teaching hospital, the next you could be supporting the regional sales team by applying your clinical expertise to the pre-sales process for a major proposal. We are continually looking for talented clinical professionals who want to build their professional careers within Ultrasound. Based in the field, you will travel to clinical sites throughout your allocated territory, representing your chosen business line in pre-sales negotiations and in post-sales delivery of educational/training programs. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience: * Current RDCS registry required. RVT registry a plus. * In-depth knowledge of Cardiovascular Ultrasound environment. Advanced clinical skills such as TEE, 3D, and Strain highly preferred. * Knowledge and Experience with the Philips products preferred. * 3+ years clinical experience, teaching/in-service experience preferred. * Willingness to travel overnight up to 75%. * Ability to be manage schedule remotely.
