About the Opportunity:

Aisle Rocket Studios (ARS) is seeking a highly talented, forward-thinking Web Analytics Specialist who can help lad agency search strategies and campaigns across multiple brands. This team member will work with multiple departments throughout our office and should have strong communication skills to build engagement with our client to develop extraordinary brand awareness that drives consumer interactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Own continuous analysis and reporting of multiple client digital properties, except in cases where a conflict of interest may arise

  • Develop and execute best-in-class analytics initiatives for each client within our portfolio

  • Lead ideation of portfolio-wide analytics initiatives

  • Act as a primary analytics communications contact for the Digital Strategy Team, serving internal and external stakeholders

  • Effectively leverage analytics to inform strategic initiatives and optimizations

  • Grow digital strategies and implement multi-channel tactics

  • Own both paid/earned media initiatives

  • Convert business requirements into detailed analytics requirements

  • Implement tracking using Adobe's Dynamic Tag Management (DTM) product

  • Work with developers to implement tracking code directly into the page

  • Aid in the implementation of DTM, and convert existing code tracking to DTM rules

  • Engage in acceptance testing and troubleshooting of tracking issues

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated track record of success assessing and analyzing client digital marketing objectives to produce/recommend appropriate analytical/strategic solutions

  • 2+ years of experience of marketing strategy and ROI optimization on digital initiatives

  • Must have 2+ years of proficiency manipulating/analyzing digital data and generating insights using Adobe Analytics -Omniture SiteCatalyst or Google Analytics

  • Strong overall grasp of advertising and marketing concepts

  • Deep understanding of Adobe Analytics, Google Adwords, Google Analytics and CMS tools

  • Prior agency experience highly desired, but not required. Start-up experience appreciated.

  • Ideal candidate should have good SQL and data visualization experience using tools like Tableau

  • Must be organized and comfortable working on tight deadlines

The Analyst will work with teams to develop reporting and insights related to website traffic, lead generation, content marketing and social media. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with technical and non-technical team members is a must. Search Engine Marketing / Optimization experience is also ideal, but not critical for the role. Candidates must act as subject matter experts within the organization and champion the use of data to help drive strategic decisions regarding digital marketing communications, e-commerce activities, and customer experiences. The role requires a candidate with a commitment to continued learning and the ability to act proactively to improve digital strategies and procedures. Responsibilities * Implement and configure analytics platform and facilitate analytics code implementations where necessary * Capture web and digital analytics data primarily with Google Analytics, Yext, Hootsuite and other tools as necessary * Develop and measure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) * Analyze key website performance metrics and competitive trending * Developing queries and analyzing datasets to produce daily, weekly and monthly reports * Provide daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc metrics and reports for various business and functional stakeholders * Build dashboards and perform competitive benchmarking and trending * Monitor and recommend improvements to website performance through analysis of the customer experience, conversion effectiveness, abandonment points, customer demographics, and website usability and device trends * Leverage qualitative and quantitative methodologies to analyze captured data * Maintain tag management (Google Tag Manager) configuration to support analytics and marketing integrations * Create forecasts using operational and statistical tools and models * Make recommendations regarding process improvements and helping develop performance policies and procedures Required Experience * BA/BS preferably in marketing, math, computer science, or engineering * 3-5 years experience in Web Analytics core competencies * 2-3 years experience in SEM/SEO core competencies – ideal but not required * Strong knowledge of leading web analytics software (Google Analytics highly preferred & Google Tag Manager a plus) * Knowledge of VWO or other multivariate testing platforms a plus * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required * Organizational and project-management skills * Curiosity and attention to detail to mine data and reveal data issues * Excellent communication skills * Creativity, sense of design and understanding of communication vehicles/options CNO Financial Group Chicago IL
