Job Summary:
The Weaving PM Technician is required to know the components of weaving machines (P7100 looms) that will include repair and maintenance procedures. Furthermore, they also play a role during new product development and implementation.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Must be able to analyze and take corrective measures on machines flagged by weavers;
Must be able to repair/replace and perform the proper settings on the following components of the Machine (P7100 looms) including but not limited to:
components of the projectile circulation;
all types of let-off (mechanical and electrical) and take up drives;
shed formation timing and drive components;
selvedge formation (tucking unit and weft end gripper settings);
adjust whip roller and warp stop motion;
pick gear combination
pick clock settings;
Is responsible for the weaving machine performance and fabric quality in an assigned area (weave room section);
Keep Pig Mats orderly and replace as needed (housekeeping)
Lubricate daily oiling points
Keep record of actions taken by means of filling in flag sheets
Work with weavers to enhance their skills on looms
Work with lab and quality personal to ensure quality product
Weekly revisions and cleanings

Responsible and accountable for quality workmanship regarding machine setups, repairs and maintenance.
Responsible and accountable for providing accurate and effective training based on the company guidelines, when needed.
Experience/Education Requirements:

Must have experience in weaving or other manufacturing process

Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
Stand on concrete floor for long periods of time
