Follow established safe work practices to ensure a safe working environment.
Tie warps as required.
Ensure proper patterns are being tied back.
Ensure tie-in job is being performed properly to eliminate unnecessary downtime.
Responsible for tying both greige goods and yarn dye patterns.
Responsible for racking warps and transporting both rack and tie-in machine to nest loom for tying.
Replace old tie tails ends with new ones for repairs.
Backup for Machine Operator 7.
Maintains good housekeeping.
All other duties assigned.
Required Experience
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to read and write
Good communication skills
Attention to detail and quality
Must be able to stand for majority of shift
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
Manual dexterity
Work in climate controlled area
Design Group follows all CDC Guidelines.
