Follow established safe work practices to ensure a safe working environment.
Repair loom stops as necessary to maintain maximum loom efficiency
Inspect ribbon to insure good quality
Walk warp alleys to prevent wraps and warps, or issues which may cause loom to stop
Flag looms for fixer that require either mechanical or quality adjustments
Control quality by insuring proper filling is being used
Calls supervisor after flagging loom for same problem 3rd time
Maintains good housekeeping as necessary
All other duties assigned
Required Experience
High School Diploma or GE
Ability to read and write
Good communication skills
Work under minimum supervision
Must be able to stand and walk for majority of shift
Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. above head
Manual dexterity
Must use cognitive reasoning skills to make adjustments on equipment to ensure quality
Must be able to develop and execute plans for daily work routine in an efficient and effective manner
Work in climate-controlled area
