ITA International has an immediate opening for a Weapons and Tactics Program Manager supporting the 36th Electronic Warfare Squadron located at Eglin Air Force Base.
The Weapons and Tactics Program Manager provides continuity to the squadron's weapons and tactics branch through Aircraft Mission Design Series (MDS) and Defensive Systems Special Program Offices (SPOs).
Serving as a conduit for squadron personnel to reach SPOs in order to conduct Squadron Mission.
Ultimately responsible for squadron and SPO interaction/correspondence to ensure rapid capabilities are shared throughout the Combat Air Forces.
The ideal candidate's responsibilities will include:
Develop, execute, and manage mission data working groups.
Provide subject matter expertise on current operational plans to squadron members.
Obtain then provide current Combatant Command priorities to squadron, group, and wing.
Conduct monthly briefings on MDS specific techniques, tactics, and procedures.
Serve as a focal point for squadron integration into USAF test enterprises and exercises.
Serve as a focal point for ACC, SPO, and Warfighter integration into Electronic Warfare.
Visit major Areas of Responsibility quarterly. (Travel Required)
Bachelor Degree in engineering or other technical/science discipline from an accredited university or a minimum of 5 years.
Combat Air Force related experience with a strong background in weapons and tactics or a Combatant Command.
Must have Air Force Weapons and Tactics Conference experience.
Must be a self-starter who is willing and able to work in a team environment.-Must be detail oriented and a critical thinker.
Must have good communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
Must be able to accomplish assignments/tasks with minimal supervision.-Must have strong Microsoft office computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel, Word,PowerPoint, and Access.
Prior US Air Force Weapons School or Navy Top Gun graduate.
Prior military instructor duty assignment.Knowledge of 36 EWS programs and mission.
Tier 1 and 2 Air Force Weapons Officer Assignments complete.
