We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Premier Wealth Manager
The role of the Premier Wealth Manager is a client facing role based in Isle of Man managing our highest value clients where professionalism, client focus and a broad understanding of the fundamentals of financial planning are critical to the success of the business. The role holder has a responsibility to acquire, develop and retain relationships with Premier clients, working with the broader branch and direct teams to ensure achievement of the business performance measures and plan (as defined by Retail Banking and Wealth Management
This will be achieved by active management of a portfolio of Premier clients, acquiring new HSBC clients and upgrading existing clients and becoming the trusted advisor to them. It will also entail reviewing the portfolio regularly to ensure the solutions are still suitable to meet clients' needs and embed client loyalty by meeting their needs either directly or through other internal business partners.
In this role, you will:
Complete periodic reviews with a portfolio of existing Premier clients to establish their financial goals and to broaden their understanding about HSBC's range of banking and wealth management solutions
Deepen relationships with your portfolio of clients, with a view to becoming the provider of choice for their banking and wealth management needs
Monitor and act on daily management information and other internal information tools, using them to coach the wider Branch team in support of business goals
Establish and agree client contact strategies in line with Group operating models
Collaborate with other areas of the Bank with a view to delivering a seamless banking service. Maintain a close working relationship with wider areas of the Group including HSBC Commercial, HSBC Expat and HSBC Private Bank and engage colleagues in other departments to address the wider needs of our customers.
Identify and address the wealth management goals of our customers, using a panel of regulated wealth management products.
Achieve competent adviser status and maintain that status by continuous CPD, training and competency assessments.
Maintain highest standard of excellence in client service across the team and with individual portfolio
Monitor client satisfaction data implementing portfolio level improvements
Proactively support others through direct and indirect actions beyond activities particular to this role
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
Role relevant industry qualifications are essential, i.e. Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, through a recognised professional body
Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. relationship management / wealth advisory role is essential
Proven experience of leading the delivery of an excellent customer service and proactively looking for innovative ways to improve service levels
The ability to demonstrate a track record of meeting and exceeding short, medium and long term business expectations within a high performing team
Experience of building and managing complex relationships with a portfolio of affluent and sophisticated customers
A track record of successfully identifying and developing significant/complex business propositions, that attract and entrench customers, in a fair and ethical way
