Private Wealth Management (PWM) Alternatives Engineering Team:

Alternatives is a flagship revenue growth initiative for the firm & Wealth Management. There has been exponential growth in Alternatives investing last couple years and the Alternatives industry is evolving rapidly.

PWM Alternatives Engineering team is currently driving number of initiatives that will enable platform scale & flexibility needed for the expansion of Alternatives offering to PWM clients. From expansion to offer new Open-Ended Alternative funds in the market to building flexibility as the Alternatives industry evolves to Hybrid funds to enabling an open architecture giving PWM clients access to non-GS Alternative funds, the engineering team in integral in the build out of the platform.

This application is a full-stack Alternatives trading platform, designed for scale, built using the latest strategic technology solutions, and deployed to support Advisor & Alternative Capital Market teams across the globe.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL:

In PWM, we value Quality Management as a core technical competency that is essential to our success. The PWM QA Engineering team is responsible for ensuring that our applications and products are comprehensively quality tested, work as intended, and the regression testing is automated using standardized tooling and framework that the QA Engineering team builds.

We are looking for QA Engineer who can work closely with Developers, Project Managers, and Users throughout the SDLC, designing and writing Test Cases (TC) based upon requirements, executing them, automating them, tracking / reporting execution results, troubleshooting and coordinating defect resolution. Should be experienced in Functional, Performance, Load & Regression testing aspects of enterprise applications, and automating the regression suite for each of these testing functions.

We use scalable testing frameworks for Automating the TC execution so that frequent, agile application releases can be supported. QA Engineer will need to have strong, hands-on experience with test automation tools.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • 5+ years of professional experience of reviewing and understanding business requirements, BRDs, FSDs, Wireframes, etc, and developing high quality test cases that comprehensively cover all testing aspects of the application being developed.
  • 3+ years of strong hands-on experience with various QA Automation tools
  • Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG, JMeter, LoadRunner.
  • 3+ years of hands-on coding experience with one or more of these scripting / programming languages
  • Java, JavaScript or Python
  • 3+ years of work experience of working on and testing server-side Java applications that use a micro service architecture. Should be familiar with full-stack development, Agile methodologies.

  • Impeccable attention to functional and UI details, with a keen focus towards verifying and validating new functionality against an existing set of given design specs and requirements.

  • With limited supervision, can design and execute test cases, create test data, execute test cases, track and report progress, and drive closure of all defects, with the Developers and PMs.

  • Good working knowledge of how to develop and maintain tight QA processes centred around JIRA for all reporting and tracking of defects and test case execution.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.

  • Prior experience of working in financial institutions a plus.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills - should be able to communicate effectively with Developers, Project Managers and Users.

  • Energetic, self-directed, and comfortable in a fast paced and often multi-directional work environment.

  • Team player with good inter-personal skills and quick to learn.
