Position Summary

As the leader of the WM Client Operations Global Maintenance Programs and Products, you will be responsible for a team of product and project professionals responsible for:

  • Executive level Program Management and Project Management

  • Creating and implementing the Global Strategic vision and delivery plan

  • Product and scrum team ownership

  • Demand management, project resourcing, assessment and prioritization

  • Transformational/Change leadership to Agile and Product Ownership methodologies

  • Communities of Practice and project management standards for extended teams


  • BA/BS degree recommended

  • Outcome oriented: Strong business acumen and expertise in defining business priorities, establishing business and technology plans/roadmaps, financial management and portfolio management

  • Problem solving skills: Passionate problem solver and critical thinker with exceptional analytical skills and a superior ability to structure and scope complex problems, apply a range of analytical tools, gain and synthesize insights, and develop solutions

  • Relationship building skills: Ability to influence stakeholders with diverse points of view

  • Communication skills: Structured thinker, must be able to concisely and comprehensively explain complex ideas and processes. The candidate must possess strong written and oral executive-level communications skills, including the ability to quickly adjust messages and style based on different audiences and agendas

  • Project management/Scrum Master skills: Demonstrated ability to manage tight delivery timelines and adapt to changing business priorities and/or capacity

  • Strategic implementation skills: Ability to apply strategic thinking/approaches into a process to ensure effective design and delivery; experience with agile product development techniques and continues integration philosophies and practices for speed to market

  • Strong global leadership: Ability to lead and drive change for the global organization

  • Uplift Service & Impact Outcomes: For clients, users and business partners

The person in this role will support the Market Executive, who: * Leads the market (typically consisting of a parent and associate offices) to achieve the business goals, leveraging the team consisting of a Market Supervision Manager, Client Relationship Manager, Resident Directors, Financial Advisors, Client Associates and Operations staff. * Drives market performance results through planning, leading, and executing strong sales and service behaviors across the 3 core client segments served (Affluent, Ultra High Net Worth, and Institutional). * Manages the market financials, including profit and loss management, customer and revenue growth, and loss prevention. * Relishes the uniqueness of the market and builds and delivers a strategy for growth based on it. * Leverages enterprise relationships and proactively collaborates across the organization to deliver our full capabilities to clients. * Hires, manages, and develops a diverse management, sales and support team. * Proactively represents the Bank of America Merrill Lynch brand in the market to personally drive growth and increase diversity. * Interacts with clients and prospects on an advanced level regarding sales activities, account information, procedures, systems and range of financial services products. * Anticipates, manages, and resolves risk items to protect the interests of the firm while enhancing the client experience. * Promotes and recognizes performance; adheres to the performance management process, policies and tools. * Builds a culture of excellence and engagement. * Acquires talent through hiring experienced Financial Advisors and trainees.
