The Brokerage Support Analyst will be responsible for numerous functions including trade support, preparation of various reports, organizing meetings and partnering across various stakeholder groups to assist in strategic programs. Product support includes Equities, Options, Mutual Funds, Fixed Income and Margin Trading. In this role, the candidate will develop an in-depth understanding of trade flows for the US Private Bank, Chase Wealth Management and J.P. Morgan Securities.

The role requires a willingness to take on a challenging and complex suite of products, and learn quickly in a high volume and constantly changing environment. Strong communication, organization and attention to detail are necessary skills, as this role includes interaction with Front Office, Middle Office, Product, Risk, Legal, Compliance and the Trading Desk.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical and logical thinking to understand and analyze complex business processes, identifying risks and defining possible solutions

  • Develop relationships across all levels of an organization and work on project teams and multiple work streams in a changing environment

  • Ensure project agendas are documented and adhered to achieve desired business results

  • Work on various projects related to Middle Office, Administration, Risk, Compliance, and Operations

  • Coordinate with various areas of Operations, Middle Office, Finance, IT, Risk, Compliance, and Senior Management on business requirements, procedures and processes

  • Assist with recurring and ah-hoc management reporting

Required:

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

  • 1-2 years industry related experience preferred

  • Bachelor's degree for higher

  • Self-starter, extremely organized with strong commitment to accuracy and detail

  • General knowledge of securities industry with high aptitude of learning

  • Process driven, and at ease with responding to high pressure deadlines

  • Good judgment and problem solving skills

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio and SharePoint required

  • Ability to multi-task, manage priorities effectively, work independently

  • Must be self-motivated and task-driven

Role Description: The Wholesale Payments Strategic Execution function is focused on large scale change initiatives to address industry, client and business requirements globally as they impact the Wholesale Payments business. Specific areas of focus for the Project Management associate will be to help drive the governance and execution of strategic programs transforming WPO. The associate will be directly involved in the Firm wide Payments and the WPO as a Utility programs. The associate will be responsible for business analysis, execution of change management initiatives along with organizational and operating model design consistent with the business strategy. The role will work closely with all stakeholders including operations, finance, risk and technology; looking to leverage best practice across the industry and other JPM business units.
