We are always searching for great new talent, including Underground and Overhead Electric Laborers/Groundmen to support our field operations. Our laborers and groundmen perform diversified construction work.

Basic qualifications for this position:

  • High School Diploma, or GED, required (higher education preferred)

  • CDL Class A

  • OSHA 10-Hour Course Required

  • Able to lift up to 50lbs

  • Completing work with quality and timeliness

  • Comply with proper safety standards/procedures and work practices to MasTec's standards.

  • Preferred qualifications include construction experience

  • Local candidates preferred as relocation is not available for this position.

VIEW JOBS 11/30/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-02-28T00:00 Overview Grow engagement between Lowes Foods and the community by creating, planning and executing events to host at the Community Table. Responsibilities 1. In coordination with the merchandising team, prepare a monthly calendar of events, taking into consideration seasonality, themes, Holidays, etc. 2. Build relationships with local chefs and local growers and assist them in hosting events at the community table. 3. Assist in planning and coordinating up to multiple events per year for the Community Table. 4. Assist in arranging each event, inclusive of food, beverages (tastings), supplies, signage, and appropriate décor. May include recruiting local groups to attend planned events. 5. Aggressively gather information on each project to achieve quality events. 6. Propose new ideas to improve the events and the implementation process. 7. Serve as liaison with vendors and local chefs/growers on event related matters. 8. Assist with managing the events and clean up for events as necessary. 9. Prepare name tags, materials, notebooks, packages, gift bags, seating cards, etc. (whatever is needed for the specific event). 10. Assist in preparing budgets and provide periodic financial reports. 11. Keep track of event finances. 12. Coordinate appointments and visits with local chefs, growers and producers as well as civic groups, schools, churches etc. Qualifications 1. Must be able to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines with little supervision. 2. Must be creative, have a love for food, provide outstanding guest service, be an enthusiastic professional, and be able to build relationships with internal and external guests. 3. Friendly, outgoing, take charge professional. 4. Ability to work well with others. 5. Ability to lift 25 lbs. occasionally and 15 lbs. constantly. 6. Ability to read and understand information and direction. 7. Knowledge of basic store operations. 8. Ability to supervise people including training and development. 9. Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job. 10. Must be at least 18 years old. 11. Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
