This position is for an Intern level Cyber Technical Specialist who is excited for the potential activities listed below.
What You Will Do
Work with a larger cybersecurity team at the WDW Resort to:
Required Qualifications & Skills
Ability to work individually with minimal supervision and as an integral part of a team.
Proficient in all forms of communication-especially when conveying technical details to a non-technical audience.
Communicates using collaboration tools including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Slack, Jira, and GitLab effectively.
Ability to efficiently resolve network issues with varying degrees of complexity.
Preferred Qualifications
Education
Preferred Education
MS degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, related Software or Electrical Engineering field or equivalent work experience
One or more OT/ICS or network certifications including CCNA, GICSP, GCIP, GRID or other relevant certification.
One or more general certifications including Security+, CySA+, GSEC, CASP+, CISSP, or relevant certifications.
Eligibility & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
At the time of application, be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program AND returning to school the semester/quarter following the internship OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
The approximate dates of this internship are June/2024 through January/2025
Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work*
