Job Description
The Workforce Development Center (WDC) at Cincinnati State is the region's leading workforce training and education center. Located at the Evendale campus, we actively assist employers and students in acquiring the necessary skills for future professional and academic success. We support our college mission by offering fast-paced micro-credentials and custom programming. This position requires a generalist who will meet the daily operational needs of WDC employees and students.
Essential Duties:
Manage credit offerings in the Curriculum Information Management system
Coordinate HLC compliance
Assist Senior Director with meetings
Develop, generate, and troubleshoot monthly reports related to WDC data
GL Code maintenance and oversight
Develop and manage job descriptions
Coordinate with HR for hiring processes & HR trainings
Assist in writing grants and provide oversight as needed
Manage facility needs
Acts as the site contact for contracted service vendors
Conduct daily walk-throughs of the facility
Ensure staffing is scheduled to open and close the facility
Ensure work orders are processed for mechanical and general facility needs
Manage schedule of activities for external and internal stakeholders
Coordinate public safety officers for WDC coverage, particularly in the evenings
Coordinate with the college's IT department to resolve IT issues for instructors and staff
E-form management
Supervises Client Management Specialists in the areas of registration, customer management, business unit support, and bursar
Facilitates advisory group meeting and facility tours
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field from a regionally accredited college or university
A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in related to administrative coordination and management
Experience to monitoring financial reports
Experience troubleshooting first-level technology issues
Strong Microsoft Office skills that include working experience in Microsoft Word, Excel PowerPoint and Outlook, and Access
Availability to work early mornings, nights and weekends. A flexible schedule is required
Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to locations in Butler, Hamilton, and Warren Counties
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years higher education experience
3+ years of experience in B2B sales and service delivery
Project management and process management experience
