Responsible for operating wave-soldering machine to solder electronic components onto printed circuit boards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Setup and operate machine based on written or verbal instructions

  • Adjusts controls of machines to regulate operating speed and temperature and solder waves.

  • Load product on conveyor line and monitors process to verify the correct components are loaded based on documentation.

  • Inspect soldered boards to detect substandard soldering. Discusses quality of soldering with supervisor and adjusts controls according to instructions.

  • Cleans parts and interiors of machines and replenishes fluids in machines and equipment

Ability to work 2nd shift (3:00pm - 11:00pm)

Requirements

  • Good eyesight and hand coordination

  • Ability to read & understand instructions in English

  • Ability to troubleshoot and correct mechanical problems

  • Basic component identification skills

  • Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22C.F.R. 120.15 are required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee. License exception Technology and software under restriction (TSR) defined in 15 CFR 740.6 may permit person from Country Group B.
