  • Lead the planning and design for water/wastewater projects

  • Conduct engineering analysis: identify the problem, develop and evaluate alternative solutions, and prepare recommendations

  • Prepare models, technical reports, preliminary/detailed design documents, engineering specifications, and perform calculations in support of engineering activities

  • Conduct field investigations to identify project needs and to perform construction inspections

  • Review vendor information to assure compliance with specifications

  • Perform equipment selection and prepare technical specifications

  • Assist senior engineers on larger, more complex projects

  • Communicate effectively with clients and project teams to present alternatives, technical recommendations, and develop collaborative solutions

  • Develop, review, sign, and seal engineering plans for water and wastewater projects

  • Provide review, quality assurance, and quality control for designs develop by others

  • Develop and mentor junior staff, provide quality guidance, and assist with project management

  • Managing deliverables to scope, schedule, and budget


  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or other related engineering discipline is required

  • A Master's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline is preferred

  • At least 5 years of experience delivering wastewater, water, and water resource projects for municipalities is required

  • Experience in serving clients with a wide variety of services including planning, design and construction of water and wastewater projects is preferred

  • Licensed professional engineer (PE) is required

  • Working knowledge of Word and Excel is required

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microstation is preferred

  • Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to effectively interface with all levels of personnel and management

  • Ability to work and thrive in a team environment

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

About the Opportunity DMI (Digital Management, LLC.) is looking for a candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of managed services across a large IT infrastructure environment (LAN/WAN, server infrastructure). Responsible for supporting project engineering efforts within a large, primarily Cisco and MS-based environment. Duties and Responsibilities: * Design and engineering support for modernization/operational projects * Work with strategy personnel to identify requirements and translate requirements into a desired architecture * Working with operational team to ensure implementation of monitoring and management requirements for any new initiative * Provide Operational support, if required, for major incidents * Support feasibility studies to determine optimal system deployment options based upon technology, cost and other identified constraints * Knowledge of Cisco and MS-based systems/environments * Implementing systems in accordance with a managed service/maturity model Qualifications Education and Years of Experience: * BS/BA with 6+ years in planning, designing and implementation of IT-systems Required Skills/Certifications: * At least four years analyzing user requirements and translating to a system design Desired Skills/Certifications: * CCNA, MCSE, ITIL v3 Foundations Min.
