Waterproofing Estimating Manager

• The Estimating Manager is responsible for managing the entire scope of estimating for their operations.

• Manage estimating team (hire, develop, goal setting, review, compensation, discipline, termination, etc.).

• All managerial responsibilities for PE-I, PE-II and SPE.

• Projections, forecasting, production estimating, developing and managing a sales plan.

• Support and assist other operations as necessary

• Managerial point of contact for estimating in communication with executive leadership (attend meetings and represent estimating department as necessary)

Experience: Must have seven (7) years of Commercial Waterproofing Estimating experience and four (4) years at a Sr. Estimating level with a success record developing estimators.

Skills: Estimating software proficiency, Microsoft office, English speaking, bilingual preferred

Abilities/Requirements:

• Must meet all requirements of SPE

• Management of estimating software database

• Ability to interpret, understand and train others on construction documents

• Understand and train others on specific construction items (as listed in Job Description)

• Exceptional written and oral communication skills

• Problem solving and dispute resolution skills

• Strong work ethic/self-starter

• Career ambition to move up within Chamberlin

• Strong time management skills (able to manage an entire department)

• Must have a valid driver's license

• Must be authorized to work in the United States

• Must be able to climb scaffolding, stairs, ladders (standing, stooping bending, lifting, etc.)

Education Required: Four-year college degree or seven (7) years of Commercial Waterproofing Estimating experience and four (4) years at a Sr. Estimating level
