Waterjet Operator

K Machine Industrial Services is a specialized machining and millwright services company focused on the repair of heavy industrial rotating equipment. We have an immediate opening for a qualified individual who has desire to become a part of a fast-paced growing diversified organization.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to, the following:

• Take a new Job from start to finish

• Locate required materials for job. Confirm measurements and material grade are correct before cutting.

• Load material on machine by operating forklift.

• Cut parts for job on machine and deburr any previously cut parts while machine is running.

• Measure and confirm accuracy of parts for every job.

• Clean, package and label parts for delivery to customer in a neat fashion.

• Put up used materials and keep shop organized.

• Keep a clean work area, and machine.

• Daily inspections of waterjet machine by operator, address and fix any issues found.

• Bring major issues to attention of supervisor.

Qualifications

• Good attitude, works well with others, willingness to learn.

• All aspects of the job will be taught to the operator on site.

• Ability to be hands on and proactive to complete the project on time.

• Work Overtime as required and respond to emergency service needs.,
