Position Description

As a Waterjet Operator, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

• Setup and operate a waterjet machine in an R&D environment

• Read and interpret blueprints and manufacture parts within specifications

• Perform First Article Inspection using precision measuring instruments and ensure parts conform to the blueprints

Position Requirements

This position requires the following skills and attributes:

• 2+ years of work experience related to CNC machining

• Be a detail-oriented and quality-minded individual

• Possess basic machine shop math skills and ability to perform calculations

• Excellent communication skills

Preferred

• Experience with OMAX waterjet is a plus

The base compensation range for this role is $20 - $28 / hour for the position in California. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries in California based on the date of this job posting.
