Overview Maintain all mechanical systems related to WTS Responsibilities Troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment. Assist with designing and monitoring preventive and predictive maintenance.
Support planning of work activities for work group, planning, scheduling and development of work instructions. Welding, cutting and fabrication experience. Knowledge of lubrication techniques and applications.
Knowledge of hydraulics, fluid flow and pneumatics. Basic knowledge of electrical principles. Ability to repair, install and maintain Vertical Turbine, Horizontal Split Casing Air Diaphragm, and Peristaltic pumps.
Basic knowledge of water treatment systems. Proficient in Rigging, Crane and Mobile equipment operations. Demonstrate ability to use Laser Alignment tools.
Demonstrate ability and desire to set and attain goals. Ability to prioritize maintenance activities to meet customer needs. Read and interpret Process Flow and Process Instrumentation Diagrams. Knowledge of computerized maintenance system (TABWARE) and PC's Qualifications Required Safety Oriented High School diploma or equivalent Strong willingness to learn Understanding of Basic Mathematics and Water Chemistry Willingness to work scheduled and non-scheduled overtime Strong teamwork focus Ability to work without direct supervision Ability to multi-task & prioritize work assignments with production needs Preferred At least 2 years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience Steel Dynamics Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
