Position Description: This team is responsible for the organization's supply chain operations by coordinating the movement of raw materials, in-process goods, or completed merchandise to ensure that production needs or customer expectations are met.

Level of education required: H.S. Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

Education: H.S. Diploma or equivalent.

Language Requirements:
English

Experience Level: 1 to 2 years experience in related fields preferred

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of general truck assembly requirements

  • Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints and order acknowledgment.

  • Must have some computer skills including ASI

  • Must be certified to drive a forklift or have the skills to obtain certification.

  • Work under general supervision; instructions and guidance provided on procedural changes, new regulations, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Replenish materials used on line

  • Work with Buyer to implement and manage materials. Supporting: implementation of kanbans, stocking material, faxing orders, and following escalation procedure for expediting material as required.

  • Perform material counts as needed to verify on hand quantities. Working with out of stock report.

  • Interpret order acknowledgment as to ship loose bill of material.

  • Interact with ASI

  • Exposure to all kinds of weather, ie going outside to get parts.

  • Compliance with all applicable occupational health and safety required.

Physical requirements of the job:

Physical requirements of the job are classified as medium to heavy. Medium to heavy work is defined as exerting 20 to 100 pounds of force occasionally (0-2.5 hrs/day); and/or 25 to 40 pounds of force frequently (2.5-5.5 hrs/day); and or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly (5.5+ hrs/day) to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of Light work

The Wastewater Operator will operate and maintain the wastewater treatment plant in compliance with the site indirect discharge permit, including lab analysis of process samples, general and preventive maintenance of equipment, and complete other tasks as assigned by the Lead Wastewater Operator, Account Manager, or other Veolia Leadership personnel. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Operate and maintain the various equipment and processes at the WWTP, including the DAF, UASB, sludge dewatering equipment, chemical feed systems, wastewater pumps, blowers, gas flare, and hot water boilers. * Sample and analyze process and effluent samples from various locations within the wastewater plant to determine compliance and treatment efficiencies. * Evaluate sample data in order to make process changes to improve treatment efficiency and maintain compliance * Perform general and preventive maintenance activities on all wastewater and ancillary equipment. * Manage chemical inventories, spare part inventories, and waste disposal activities, including receipt, unloading, and transfers of these materials to the appropriate tank or storage area * Ability to manage the chemical feed systems and perform PM as well as maintenance to ensure that the chemical feed system is operating properly * Ensure the cleanliness of the equipment, plant, office, and lab * Detect and report operational or treatment issues to the Lead Wastewater Operator * WWTP runs 24/7/365, therefore must be able to work 12-hr shifts, typically day shift on Friday through Sunday and/or evenings during the week or weekends Education and Experience Requirements: * Prefer 5 years of previous wastewater operations experience * Strong mechanical ability and aptitude * General lab analysis experience -preferred * South Dakota Class 1 Wastewater License – preferred * Work to obtain SD Class 2 Wastewater License within 24 months of employment * Experience operating a biological wastewater treatment system - preferred * Operational experience of a DAF – preferred * Forklift license – preferred VWS offers you a competitive compensation and benefits package, along with a dynamic work environment.
