Position Description: This team is responsible for the organization's supply chain operations by coordinating the movement of raw materials, in-process goods, or completed merchandise to ensure that production needs or customer expectations are met.
Level of education required: H.S. Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Education: H.S. Diploma or equivalent.
Experience Level: 1 to 2 years experience in related fields preferred
Knowledge of general truck assembly requirements
Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints and order acknowledgment.
Must have some computer skills including ASI
Must be certified to drive a forklift or have the skills to obtain certification.
Work under general supervision; instructions and guidance provided on procedural changes, new regulations, etc.
Replenish materials used on line
Work with Buyer to implement and manage materials. Supporting: implementation of kanbans, stocking material, faxing orders, and following escalation procedure for expediting material as required.
Perform material counts as needed to verify on hand quantities. Working with out of stock report.
Interpret order acknowledgment as to ship loose bill of material.
Interact with ASI
Exposure to all kinds of weather, ie going outside to get parts.
Compliance with all applicable occupational health and safety required.
Physical requirements of the job:
Physical requirements of the job are classified as medium to heavy. Medium to heavy work is defined as exerting 20 to 100 pounds of force occasionally (0-2.5 hrs/day); and/or 25 to 40 pounds of force frequently (2.5-5.5 hrs/day); and or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly (5.5+ hrs/day) to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of Light work
