Our St. Paul office is looking for an experienced and motivated Project Manager to support federal, state, and municipal projects. We are looking specifically for client-oriented individuals currently working within the market. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers and scientists on stormwater management, water quality planning and restoration, watershed management, and modeling projects. This is a client facing opportunity which will also allow for significant involvement in the technical work product.
The Project Manager will play a key role in planning and design projects. The individual will lead project development, be responsible for financial management of projects, ensure deadlines are met, and that project staff work together collaboratively and effectively.

You'll Bring These Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in water resource engineering or a related engineering/science discipline
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience leading, planning, designing, and analyzing stormwater and water resources projects for municipalities and public entities in Minnesota
Local client experience is required
Education and work experience should be related to municipal engineering, storm water management, watershed and water quality modeling, BMP design and construction, and watershed planning
Familiarity with elements of the design-bid-build process including engineering analysis, permitting, development of construction documents (plans and specifications), cost estimating, and construction administration and observation
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
Leader and team player possessing strong planning and organizational skills
Strong skills and proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft-based software
Responsibilities specific to Business Development include:
Consistently make new contacts within the stormwater market
Develop and present marketing materials for potential clients; lead proposal development
Generate new sales within the stormwater market during the first year of employment
Effectively track business development activities
