As we grow, we are seeking a dynamic Water Resource EIT in our Charleston, SC office.
The Water Resource Engineer-In-Training Candidate must be able to perform complex and/or unique engineering functions, advanced field data collection, and troubleshooting for a variety of water resource related projects. These types of projects include, but are not limited to field data collection, regulatory compliance, assisting with developing design specifications, introductory H&H and water quality modeling, conducting plan reviews, report writing, FEMA response, and more.
The position will be involved in large/complex FEMA recovery projects located in 17 states across the mid-west including Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, North and South Dakota, and Montana. Response and recovery deployment scenarios will vary, ranging from a week to a month or more. FEMA will require individuals to conduct inspections on infrastructure damage and record damage descriptions during the inspections.
Candidates will have a minimum BS in Civil, Environmental, Biosystems, or Agricultural Engineering
Minimum two years related experience
An Engineer-In-Training certification is strongly preferred.
Duties include field work and office work, frequent local travel, and FEMA deployment travel as needed.

Knowledge of stormwater modeling software, ESRI software, and Microsoft Office suite is preferred.
