Water & Mold Mitigation Technician

Job Description Job Description Aquos Restoration is a Water, Fire, and Mold Mitigation company based in Stafford Texas. As a Mitigation Technician you will be working with drying equipment, as well as chemicals and solvents.

This may be in tight spaces such as attics or crawl spaces. After a disaster we work with our clients to get their home back together so they can get back to living. What you will be doing:

Communicate with the commercial/residential owner(s) to complete the service contract. Assist with the jobsite inspection to determine the scope of work. Remove and dispose of non-salvageable items, as well as demolition of damaged materials.

Prepare any and all documentation pertaining to the loss, including, but not limited to pictures, contracts, daily reports, sketches and dimensions. Set up, operate, move, and maintain the drying equipment. Keep the vehicle clean and stocked with the appropriate tools to get the job done.

What we expect you to have: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent. Be currently in the industry with 2-3 years of experience.

Possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces, sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time, repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects, work with/around cleaning products/chemicals. Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs regularly, up to 100lbs with assistance.

Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law. Bilingual in English and Spanish is required. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

What we would like you to have: IICRC Certification(s) are preferred. Mold Worker License is preferred.
