Ongoing drought conditions and population growth in many regions of the US have stressed surface and groundwater resources, causing managers and regulators to rethink how they use and allocate water resources. Masuen Consulting is a leader in the irrigation industry We provide irrigation design and engineering, control system monitoring and management, and in-field irrigation-related consulting services. Our principal offices are in Newport, Washington, and our primary areas of operation are in Florida, Texas, and the Pacific Northwest.

Masuen’s clients include landscape architects, engineers, architects, developers, municipal agencies, and HOA/property managers. Description: This Water Management Technical Consultant position is a remote position in Texas.

You must reside within 25 miles of Katy, Texas. A company vehicle is provided, along with a laptop and cell phone. Responsibilities include: ● Perform inspections and audits of commercial irrigation systems ● Consult and conduct irrigation evaluations and analyses on water management practices for urban, golf and agricultural projects ● Install irrigation central control components and systems ● Consult on, and conduct pumping plant, filtration, and control system analyses ● Utilize sophisticated analytical equipment for manual and automated site data collection ● Deliver professional presentations ● Attend monthly Board meetings ● Write professional reports ● Be a great team player dedicated to meeting deadlines, detailed, and results oriented Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; four-year college degree in agronomy, horticulture, agriculture, engineering or other related fields preferred, and bilingual a plus (English/Spanish). A Licensed Texas Irrigator’s License is preferred, and formal irrigation training and experience and knowledge of products commonly used in the turf industry desired. You must have a Texas Driver’s License in good standing and the ability to pass a complete background check and drug screening process. The successful candidate must be willing to take a personality profile analysis and will be required to complete the Irrigation Association Auditor’s class.
