Water Jet Operator Assistant

Schedule: 1st shift

Pay rate: $23 - 25/hr.

Water Jet Operator Assistant essential tasks:

• Operate the Laser and Waterjet cutting machines.

• Set up and operate waterjet cutting machine in a safe and efficient manner.

• Load and unload the laser and or the water jet with various material.

• Monitor production to ensure quality and perform verifications and inspection of the product.

• Ability to machine in tight tolerances; understanding of G Codes.

• Deburr, drill, tap and countersink parts.

• Interpret information from drawings with strong attention to detail.

• Maintain quality of fabricated parts and equipment

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualified candidates will have knowledge of precision measuring devices such as calipers and micrometers, ability to read engineered drawings, and basic math skills. 2+ years of related experience required.
