Job Overview

AProperty Damage Mitigation Manager is responsible for the fast response to emergency water damage claims and other restoration-related activities within the geographical territory.

You will play a primary role in bringing order out of chaos.

Primary customer contacts are residential and commercial customers and their insurance providers.The work environment is fast-paced, highly competitive and requires travel in a company owned vehicle within the territory.

Understanding the project Service Level Agreements with our clients is one of the most important aspects of this position . Adherence to our insurance carrier clients estimating and project management expectations is paramount for success.

We are looking for project managers who can respond toWater damage claims,Fire damage claims,Smoke damage claimsandother property damage emergenciesquickly. You must be able to put our clients at ease and take control of the situation in order to put a plan into action and communicate it clearly with the customer and their insurance provider.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Clear Communication about job overview, timelines and setting expectations
  • The ability to write estimates quickly
  • Overcome obstacles efficiently(FIND A WAY)
  • Take good clear photos and provide support for estimates.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with insurance companies via Xactanalysis.
  • Execute Contracts accurately, Get all project related documents executed accurately and timely.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and reassure our customers that ARC is here to help! We are here to restore the property after devastating situations.

Allied Restoration Co is looking for Water Damage mitigation managers who are responsible for handling new and ongoing water damage claims with integrity and excellence. Duties will include initial job-site inspection, secure jobs and perform structural drying per the IICRC standards.

A qualified candidate must have good writing skills and have an attention to detail. We are seeking highly motivated people to join our team of Insurance claims professionals.

Essential Functions:

  • Applicants must be reliable, customer-oriented and willing to be part of a team.
  • Must be able to Interface with clients to secure jobs, acquire work agreements, communicate with clients throughout project process,
  • This position also requires the applicant to perform basic administration of all project documents and information as well as be able to effectively manage your jobs
  • Construction Experience a plus

  • Clean cut, organized person with positive attitude.
  • Outstanding personal skills and the ability to think on your feet is a necessity.
  • Must be an outgoing, personable individual who makes a good first impression with customers.
  • IICRC Certification is a plus but not a requirement.
  • Participation in a weekly rotational on-call schedule.
  • Physically able to work in PPE including respiratory protection.

Position Summary: Reporting to the Senior Director of Corporate Operations, the Project Director - Capital Projects will be responsible for leading laboratory, manufacturing and office capital projects across the company. In this role they will work closely in a collaborative fashion with user groups across the company to define requirements and communicate status during project execution. Leading and executing the technical, schedule, financial and quality aspects of assigned capital projects with high user satisfaction is the primary responsibility of the Project Director. Responsibilities, including but not limited to: * Collaborate with users in Research, Pharm/Tox, Bioassay Development, Quality, Process Development, Manufacturing, Clinical, Regulatory, Commercial, Administrative and other groups to define project requirements and document them in a User Requirements Specification (URS) * Develop the Critical Path Method (CPM) project schedule logic, execute the project using the CPM schedule and review/update the schedule weekly * Develop and manage the project budget, submit purchase requisitions and approve invoices/applications for payment * Develop project cost estimates to support the annual and LRP capital budget * Support development of project justification briefings for executive leadership and the board of directors * Represent the Capital Projects team both internally and externally in a positive and professional manner * Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team setting with users, engineering, project controls and other support groups * Define the statement of work for project contracts and manage the legal process through contract execution * Manage the engineering and architecture efforts to ensure successful technical completion with requisite quality * Support and participate in capital project infrastructure development * Support capital project organization strategy Requirements: * Minimum 12 years work experience managing capital projects of $10MM+ with 5-7 years managing capital projects in a pharma or biotech organization * BS in Engineering, Science or related discipline * MBA, Advanced engineering or science degree a plus * Knowledge and basic familiarity with AutoCad and other engineering tools. * Creative problem solving * Significant experience with logic design, review, updating and project execution using CPM schedules. * A keen negotiation sense and experience to differentiate user needs versus wants * Experience developing project status presentations and briefing users and upper management * Agility and flexibility in a fast paced environment * A motivated self-starter with ability to work with minimal direction to achieve project objectives * Demonstrated analytical capability * Creative problem solving * Drug development process familiarity and understanding of the facilities implications * Knowledge of laboratory equipment and workflows * Process development equipment and workflow knowledge * Familiarity with the GMP manufacturing production process and workflows * Experience using MS Office; specifically PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Word * Project Risk analysis using Monte Carlo methods; e.g. Polaris, Risk Drivers * AACE Certifications: PSP, DRMP; PMI Certifications: PMP Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
