Wastewater Treatment Operator

Job Description Job Description Responsibilities Keeping the waste water discharge from Johanna Foods Inc. within required permit levels. Working safely and independently.

Communicating technical issues verbally and in writing. Training off-site or online to become certified as an N-Level Wastewater Treatment Operator. Responsible for operating and maintaining all industrial waste water, bio-solid processing, and dewatering equipment required to control the flow and quality of waste water.

Conducting lab tests for water and optimal chemical application. General WWT Plant housekeeping Keeping equipment and conveyors in optimal running condition. Maintaining logs of various operations within the WWT Plant.

Reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Working independently with a team-oriented attitude and approach. Qualifications Willingness to be trained in water treatment operations and become certified as an N-Level Wastewater Treatment Operator.

High school diploma is required. Weekend work is required. Proficiency in basic math.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Able to work independently with a team-oriented attitude and approach.
