This position is tasked with writing and coordinating the issuance of industrial and municipal Wisconsin Pollution Discharge Elimination System (WPDES) permits in Water District South East (Southeast Region) consistent with the Clean Water Act. This position will also coordinate facility Capacity, Management, Operations and Maintenance (CMOM) program implementation, and pollutant source reduction implementation. The goal of this position is to protect human and environmental health and welfare by designing permits and permit modifications that control the discharge of pollutants, establish and maintain surface water quality capable of supporting recreation, fish and aquatic life, protect groundwater quality and achieve compliance with national and state water quality standards.

Minimally qualified candidates will have training, education and/or experience with:

Water quality protection or water resources management

Hydrology, chemistry, environmental science, geology, ecology or similar physical or life science

Regulatory permitting programs, for example the Wisconsin Pollution Discharge Elimination System (WPDES)

VIEW JOBS 11/17/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-15T00:00 SUMMARY We are seeking a Senior Regional Product Specialist on the design and simulation of multi-physics systems who aspires to apply his skills to the exciting and critical growth area of digital twin for systems design & validation, and its connected version in an IIoT Platform for systems in operation. The Senior Regional Product Specialist is responsible for leveraging advanced-level engineering knowledge and relationships to support regional accounts with significant impact on software revenue, as well as for helping customers to solve complex engineering problems using ANSYS software products. This role provides technical pre-sales support throughout the entire sales process. The job involves travelling to customers to deliver presentations and technical workshops within the region. The Senior Regional Product Specialist will be a member of a world class experts team that is helping digitizing systems in the ever more complex and connected world. RESPONSIBILITIES * Lead/Assist in coordinating and executing all technical activities throughout the sales opportunity such as customer meetings and product presentations, demonstrations and evaluations * Analyze technical needs, requirements, and state of a customers' current infrastructure, operations, and engineering workflows * Create and demonstrate system simulation and ROM's solutions to streamline customer workflows, in support of the sales process * Manage relationships with selected partners/customers including technical training and applications support * Manage and disseminate knowledge and expertise within the company * Participate in internal corporate initiatives to further enhance the solution suites, presales/sales enablement and professional growth * Provide new product proposals and specific requirements to the product management team MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS An ideal candidate should fulfill key requirements as given below: * Master's degree in engineering or physics * A minimum of 6 years of experience in simulation and testing of complex systems * Knowledge of modeling languages: Modelica, VHDL-AMS * CAD tool experience for system model design and simulation desired: Simplorer, Dymola, Amesim * CFD simulation is a plus (e.g. Fluent) * Understanding of scripting/programming languages: python, C/C++ * Excellent organizational and communication skills * Self-driven and highly motivated team player * Demonstrated skills in writing and presenting in fluent English PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * PhD in engineering or physics preferred * Experience and knowledge in designing and simulating fluids systems is a plus * Desired personal attributes include: oEthical oIntegrity and professionalism in handling all business matters oResults-oriented with a strong sense of initiative in tackling tasks oHigh credibility; polished professional presence oStrong commitment to teamwork and the success of others oExcellent relationship building skills and instincts regarding people oAbility to handle pressure oHigh level of energy and enthusiasm oOutstanding written and verbal communication skills oExcellent judgment and problem solving skills CULTURE AND VALUES Culture and values are incredibly important to ANSYS.
