SUMMARY
The Total Rewards Specialist will provide a high level of support to the Human Resource team by working closely with HR team-mates to support employees in a knowledgeable, timely, resourceful, and professional manner. This position has responsibilities in the following areas: compensation, benefits, HRIS, and compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborates with the HR team, and Managers to conduct compensation analyses, while reinforcing the Programs overall compensation philosophy.
Participates in compensation surveys, assists with external market analysis and internal equity evaluations.
Partner in compensation projects and special reports.
Actively contribute to developing new reports, and job descriptions, , to aide in continuous improvement of processes for Total Rewards.
Reviews company compensation and benefits policies to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and contractual requirements.
Research day-to-day inquiries and respond to benefits questions from employees, and HR team members.
Maintain Leave of Absence and medical personnel files to ensure accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality.
Administer and support CONUS and OCONUS employees with various employee health and welfare benefit programs.
Collaborate with Corporate Benefits to support audits as requested.
Ensure accuracy and tracking for requested salary changes through the approval process.
Responsible for communicating and processing employee benefits during orientation, annual open enrollment, and qualifying events.
Maintain WASS Job Descriptions and ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual requirements.
Manage Defense Base Act (DBA) Workers Compensation program.
Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Required
Associate degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of five 5 years' direct experience in HR Total Rewards
Working knowledge of the federal DBA and SCA regulations
Minimum of 4 years hands-on experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS).
Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments with little supervision and ability to work well under pressure.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
Preferred
Active DoD Security Clearance.
Bachelor's degree.
HR experience support OCONUS employees.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
Experience with Compensation Market Research Platforms.
Workday experience
Bilingual English/Spanish (Level 2 reading/writing Spanish)
