JOB REQUIREMENTS Education Must be able to read and write as well as do simple arithmetic. Needs mechanical aptitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions and work with limited supervision.

Experience Previous experience may shorten training time. An inexperienced worker will need three to six months on-the-job training to acquire skill and versatility to perform satisfactorily. Physical Normal hospital environment.

Some exposure to changes in temperatures, fumes, and water.

Normal/corrected eyesight. Hearing of normal and soft tones.

Distinguish smells.

Distinguish temperature by touch and proximity. Operates laundry processing equipment.

Lifting, carrying up to 100lbs.

Pushing/pulling up to 350lbs. Continuous standing, walking, bending and stooping.
