Harrisonburg Ford Inc. is looking for an experienced Warranty Administrator. Qualified applicants will be detail oriented with solid communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to follow and adhere to OEM guidelines. The Warranty Administrator is responsible for the submission, correction, and collection of warranty claims for the maximum amount of credit within the factory guidelines.
Close repair orders daily including customer pay, internal and warranty
Review warranty claims and correct any errors
Keep current on all factory recalls and announcements
Maintain warranty bulletins and notices that pertain to warranty
Code, book, flag and close warranty and extended warranty repair orders
Accurately code warranty & extended warranty claims and enter into our DMS.
Review claims and correct any errors, handle any rejections and follow up on current claims according to dealership and/or manufacturer specifications
Process warranty and extended warranty paperwork as set forth by the manufacturer
Provide training to the service manager and advisors about warranty coverage and procedures
Submit parts warranty claims
Work with outside warranty providers to submit claims and payment
Reconcile outside warranty providers receivables
Other duties as needed or assigned
Previous automotive warranty administration experience is REQUIRED
Knoweldge of Reynolds DMS
Ability to work well with others and be part of a team
Strong communication & follow-up skills
