Warning Analyst (Mission Support)

Firebird AST is seeking an onsite Warning Analyst (Mission Support) with an active Top Secret clearance and with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph to support the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) in Washington, D.C. The Warning Analyst analyst will be responsible for conducting all source analysis on WMD, and Science and Technology intelligence priorities. The contract is pending; anticipated award is July 2024.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct all-source intelligence production to identify WMD-related threats to U.S. interests including, but not limited to, Defense Critical Infrastructure, and strategic warning to defense and national security policy makers.

• Mitigate surprise and support shaping strategic outcomes.

• Guide the development of U.S. defense capabilities.

• Identify and analyze defense-related scientific and technological trends.

• Execute directed tasks supporting the DCIP, Defense Foreign Material Program, DoD Analytic Agenda, Defense Acquisition System, and Technology Security Program.

REQUIRED

• Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence Polygraph.

• Minimum of eight (8) years of related experience preferred.

• Bachelor's degree preferred.

• CWMD and CBRNE Intelligence Analysis experience.

• Science and Technology analysis experience.

• Knowledge of Defense Foreign Materials Program.

• Experience using intelligence tools and databases (Ex: PALANTIR, Analyst Notebook, TAC, etc).

• Ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines.

• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction.

EDUCATION

• Bachelors Degree preferred but will consider years of experience.

CLEARANCE

• Active/current DoD Top Secret/SCI with ability to obtain CI Poly.

PREFERRED

• Bachelors Degree.

• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly.
