Job Description:

The Slot Coordinator is responsible for item (SKU) inventory management by designating correct locations to optimize the flow of

product selection and to ensure accurate product inventory management. Ensures that all products are located in appropriate pick

slots in the correct warehouse departments (dry/cooler/freezer). Ensures that all product is ergonomically slotted to reduce personal

injury and/or product damage. This position works to find solutions to slotting inefficiencies by analyzing data with various

spreadsheet/software applications. Requires ability to professionally and effectively interface between purchasing, warehouse,

transportation and inventory departments. This role will function as a team member within the department and across functions, as

required, and perform any other duties assigned to best serve the company's internal and external customers.

Inspects all pick slots for inventory accuracy and maintains pick slot integrity including counts, ti-hi's, cubing, etc.

Initiates and manages the set up of slotting new items. Analyzes slot and product dimension requirements to ensure correct set up.

Reports inventory adjustments, locations of empty slots and other related information to appropriate departments in a timely manner.

Analyzes variety of reports/data to effectively resolve slotting issues and verify slot contents and counts. Routinely reviews inventory

movement and effectiveness of slot locations. Uses systems and data to slot items correctly by cubic movement and weight to

minimize number of replenishments, increase productivity and minimize potential for personal injury and product damage.

Ensures all data is updated routinely and timely to allow for informed and effective decision making across all departments.

Inspects and maintains pick slot efficiency and effectiveness to ensure optimal performance.

Performs general housekeeping duties in work area as needed. Secures all equipment and completes all necessary paperwork at end

of shift.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Required Education:

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience

Required Experience: 6 - 12 Months

Warehouse order selection, inventory control or

other related warehouse work; Must be pallet jack and forklift

certified; Basic to intermediate level computer skills.

Preferred Education: Associates/2-year technical

Preferred Experience: 1 - 2 Years

Job Summary Verify and distribute parts in a timely, accurate and efficient manner and in accordance with Caliber S.O.P. and center procedures, which allows teammates to complete repairs in a timely manner Essential Job Duties * Responsible for ordering parts from preferred vendors with a constant sense of urgency, confirming orders with vendors beginning, mid and end of each day holding them accountable to times and delivery * Check in, tag and distribute parts immediately upon receipt or by 9am for overnight deliveries * Inspects all parts for damage and quality/accuracy, Mirror matching new parts to old parts within two hours of receipt. * Responsible for labeling all parts and exchanges out new parts with old parts on parts carts while confirming with technicians arrival and correctness. * Verify correct parts with mirror match * Distribute parts to Parts Carts/Containers and deliver to work stations * Post and scan parts * Return and re-order incorrect or damaged parts * Track incomplete order status (outstanding orders, backorders, and credits) and follow up as necessary * Complete QC sheet for every vehicle as applicable * Complete parts "hot runs" as necessary * Maintain pending credits at zero * Keep work area clean and well organized * Comply with all Caliber safety rules, guidelines and standards * Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure an efficient and effective repair Skill/Requirements * Must be at least 18 years of age * Must have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber's insurance policy (Not an excluded driver) * Satisfactory completion of criminal background check * Ability to effectively communicate with others, oral and written * Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates and work orders * Multi-tasking; adapts easily to fast-paced environment * Personable, friendly demeanor with "World Class" customer service approach to internal and external customers * Maintains a well-groomed, professional appearance Physical Requirements / Working Conditions Position is based in a normal shop environment. Occasional physical activity such as reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting and stooping to inspect repairs, and lifting and carrying objects over 50lbs. Exposure to fumes, chemicals, dust, along with high levels of noise. Subject to weather conditions both inside and outside. Required to wear protective equipment when necessary.
