TITLE: Warehouseperson
ROLE: See job description for Service Partner for generic job duties.
DEPARTMENT: Supply Purchasing Distribution (SPD) area of Materials Management Department.
WORK HOURS: As required to fulfill duties.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Director, Materials Management
PREREQUISITES:
High School or GED diploma preferred.
Data entry experience.
Valid Driver's License.
Current experience of one year as a medical warehouse receiver or two years in a warehouse position and/or one year experience in hospital supply distribution, preferred

Neat and well groomed appearance.
Able to communicate effectively in a diverse population.
Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills.
Demonstrates ability to act independently
Proven history of good attendance on the job.
Proven history of performance aligned with the valley values.
Ability to lift 100 lbs. With proper body mechanics.
UNIQUE PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS, ENVIRONMENT, AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
B Unique Job Functions:
Requires repetitive lifting, pushing, carrying, light to heavy supply loads up to 100 lbs. 95% of shift assignment
Requires all post offer applicants will be tested for work tolerance by Occupational Therapy Department.
Requires standing and walking 95% of shift assignment.
Requires hearing and vision correctable to normal range.
Requires comprehension, reading, writing, recording, calculating, and communicating.
Requires working in an environment of changing temperatures, noise levels and moving objects.
Performs daily par-level inventory of supplies.
Assembles correct supplies in bins on delivery carts from designated pick list daily within 10 minutes per picklist.
Delivers and restocks supplies in assigned areas using correct stock rotation method upon completion.
Assembles requested supplies for Surgery areas/case carts.
Delivers all STAT requests immediately with the correct requested supply.
Responds to phone/printer orders delivering requested supplies within 15 minutes.
Records all supplies sent or returned accurately on pre-issue or credits records.
Performs correct data entry into the computer system for requested supplies/credits
Reconciles shelf discrepancies
Performs/signs for correct piece count of supplies upon delivery.
Collects correct Purchase Order as designated on packing slip, unpacks shipment to be received against correct Purchase Order.
Documents all shipping discrepancies, and notifies vendor within one hour after receiving and recording information in notes section of designated Purchase Order.
Places correct received supplies in designated areas for storage
Performs data entry of completed Purchase Orders per functional assignment.
Research information of receiving per request from SPD supervisor.
Assist with modifications or development in all supply or service areas when requested.
Provides service and information requests from physicians/customers inquires.
Provides correct forms/supplies per physician's requests for patient care..
Assists in assigned area of SPD department annual inventories/cycle counts
Performs borrow/loan function as needed.
Communicates in a positive and effective method both inter-intra departmental
