Responsible for receiving all materials from vendors or from the rigs. Ensures all vendor delivered materials are sent to the proper rigs' staging bins and ensures all materials returned from the rig are checked in, marked and relocated according to the disposition of same.
Duties & Responsibilities
Vendor Delivered Material:
Checks all vendor delivered items against the Vendor Delivery Ticket. Any discrepancies are noted on the Delivery Ticket and the vendor's delivery driver countersigns for the discrepancy.
Checks for the P.O. number on the Delivery Ticket. If the P.O. number is not clear, contacts the Purchasing department to verify which rig(s) the items from the vendor are for. If the P.O. number is missing, asks the delivery driver to call the vendor to obtain the P.O. number.
Sorts all materials received by vendors into each rig's staging bin.
Signs and dates all Delivery Tickets. Files duplicate copies or photocopies of the Delivery Tickets in the Rig Shipping File according to rig. Original Delivery Tickets are forwarded to the Inventory Control and Environmental Supervisor.
Materials Returned from Rigs:
Present when all returned material is offloaded from truck. Verifies equipment and number of pieces returned from rig. Ensures each piece of equipment is tagged with the rig number, marking each piece with the rig number if it's not already.
Pulls the pick-up sheet with Material Transfer copies attached from files. Physically checks for Fixed Assets ID numbers and transfers them to the Pick Up sheet. Adds any items not listed on the Pick Up sheet with a notation of their condition, location and request to notify the Maintenance Department.
Checks for the status of equipment (repair, core or return to vendor) and places equipment according to status: Superintendent repair area, slab in front of warehouse office or inside the warehouse. On the Pick Up sheet, marks the location of the equipment and marks the disposition of the equipment as being a repair, core/credit return to Vendor.
Inspects the condition of returned equipment that is returned to stock. Contacts the Maintenance Department of the location of any equipment needing repair.
Prepares the daily Warehouse Activity Report.
Organizes Lean To and Warehouse Yard area.
Back-up for when the Shipping Supervisor is not present.
All other duties assigned by immediate supervisor.
