SALARY RANGE: $41,434 - $52,475

Job Summary:

Individual is to assist in the operations which include but not limited to receiving, production food & equipment inventory control, equipment transfers and forklift operations. The position will also require organizing and directing lower personnel in operational needs and can make decisions with limited direction from supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Assists Nutrition Center Plant Manager in the production Kitchen Warehouse.

• Carries or trucks last minute or emergency supplies, including catering, to storage areas.

• Use menu database to fill advance meal requisitions, organizes stage picking, and maintains storage areas in production.

• Assist with menu and product identification.

• Data Entry

Performance Requirements:

• Working knowledge of all warehouse equipment.

• Stands and walks most of the working day, stoops, lifts, and carries supplies and equipment, and pushes and pulls hand trucks, must be able to lift or push very heavy loads.

• Must work cooperatively with others.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Must have excellent work attendance.

• Capable of working well in situations which require meeting deadlines.

• Ability to issue stock according to a general picking list, individual requisitions and/or delivery tickets.

• In the absence of a driver/warehousemen, Load/Unload deliveries properly while checking weights, quantity, quality, and specs, and obtaining signatures and completing any required documents including to oversee that all deliveries are date stamped.

• Perform all functions in compliance with shipping and receiving regulations, city health and safety regulations and/or policies, and FIFO (first in first out) standards.

• Inform Supervisor of any current or outstanding issues

• Daily interaction with coworkers in the shipping, production, and purchasing departments.

• Oversee the monthly production inventories or any inventory needed with greater frequency.

• Ability to use computer and software necessary for the position.

• Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor, director, or designee.

• Report to supervisor receipt of supplies that are damaged or do not meet specifications.

• Responsible for smallware transfers & request

• Driving the FNS Van for small deliveries or catering
