Summary/Objective
The Delivery Technician delivers products to jobsites for installation and coordinates with ABS personnel as well as the General Contractor for optimal offloading and staging of material ahead of installation dates. Typical delivery includes the following duties:
Essential Functions
1.Safely operates delivery vehicle, equipment & material to jobsites.
2.Assists with pulling, loading, offloading & tie down of material at warehouse.
3.Offloads and distributes material on site.
4.Stages material in buildings, floors, rooms as directed.
5.Preps and unboxes material (on & off site)
6.Trash cleanup & removal.
7.Coordinates with GC, ABS Foreman, Installers & Warehouse Crew.
8.Inventories & documents material on site.
9.Assists installers & warehouse crew as needed.
Performs daily vehicle walk-around inspections; maintains cleanliness of vehicle.
Performs general labor tasks and other duties, as assigned.
Performs material "Pick Ups" from various vendors when required.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform heavy lifting and carrying material some distance as well as occasionally moving material up or down stairs.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather); toxic or caustic chemicals (Refer to MSDS sheets for detail); outdoor weather conditions, risk of electrical shock; falls from lethal elevations; slips, trips, and spills; falling objects; working at high elevations; pinch-point and struck-by injuries from materials, vehicles, and heavy equipment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, and infrequently lift or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Travel throughout the service region is expected with occasional overnight travel to jobsites.

Requirements:
Preferred Education and Experience
High school education or equivalent
Prior experience in warehouse, delivery and/or manual labor
Heavy Equipment/Large Truck operation
One to three months related experience and/or training or
Equivalent combination of education and experience
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Valid driver license and insurable under our company vehicle insurance policy
Reliable vehicle and valid insurance
Pay
ABS is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Colorado is $21.00-25.00/hour based on experience. Final Compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the candidate, and alignment with local market data.
