The Warehouse Associate will perform a variety of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Select customer orders from shelves, place onto pallet, and load onto trailer
Utilize an industrial forklift (certification not required)
Utilize an on-board computer and wireless radio frequency system
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Assist other warehouse workers in completing tasks as requested by the Warehouse Manager or immediate supervisor
Process billing runs including labeling and including packing lists for cross docking if required
Route freight orders, including bills of laden preparation and labeling for common carrier shipments
Sort freight bills by category, run driver manifests, set delivery appointments, data entry of receiving worksheets and inventory reports
Assist Warehouse Manager/Supervisor with item/bin maintenance
Interact with purchasing, customer service staff as required
Some EDI responsibilities may be necessary
Other duties as assigned
High School/GED education preferred
Ability to perform clerical and administrative duties with speed and accuracy under limited supervision
Minimum of 2 years of receiving experience in a warehouse/distribution environment is preferred
AS400/iSeries experience preferred, particularly inventory/receiving functions
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Self-starter with the ability to multi-task projects
Ability to answer a heavy volume of phone calls from both internal and external customers
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to lift heavy objects (occasionally between 60-75 lbs) with or without reasonable accommodation for an entire shift
Overtime is required based on business demands; sometimes on short notice
Previous warehouse/forklift operation experience a plus but not required
Must be dependable and a team player
Must be able to work regularly at a height of up to 26 feet above the ground (with provided safety equipment/processes/training)
