Job Location: St. Louis, Missouri

Starting Pay: $16 and up.

Job Type: Full Time

Shift: 7:00am

• 3:30pm; Monday

• Friday

Job Summary:

Great entry level opportunity! In this role, you're working on a team in the center of the action. As a team, you will perform a variety of tasks in the warehouse. This includes material handling, assisting with inventory maintenance, moving materials for current job orders, and working with receiving to verify package items. This role includes opportunities for learning and skill development.

What Will Your Job Look Like?

• Your days may vary, depending on business needs. Your day could include:

• Staging parts and materials for job orders-will include frequent lift and place product of various weights, weighing up to 50 pounds on pallets (using a pallet jack) and totes of various heights.

• Properly pulling and putting away material and recording transactions in a hand-held computer.

• Maintaining inventories of all inventoried items - includes CLM (Carr Lane Manufacturing) parts and raw materials of all sizes and consistency. This can include verifying inventory.

• Assisting and participating in inventory cycle counts.

• Receiving packing slips and verifying quantities of items against purchase orders.

• Must comply with the company's safety, concern for quality standards and policies.

• Operates all CLM equipment according to safety guidelines.

• Other duties as assigned.

All you need is…

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer skills.

• Attention to detail and accuracy is important in this role. Top candidates will have strong organizational skills and work well under deadlines.

• Ability to learn new things and willingness to learn about inventoried items.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Even better if you have…

• Prior experience in warehouse / materials environment

• Experience working in an ERP system or database.

• Manufacturing background/knowledge

• Close visual acuity

• Subject to noise, hazards, and oils.

• Frequently lift boxes and totes containing parts and materials, up to 35 pounds.
