Function:

The Warehouse Lead oversees the Warehouse staff in prep, de-prep, and pulling of show equipment for the other departments as well as the loading and unloading of trucks. The ideal candidate is an experienced manager with excellent interpersonal skills who can uphold Clearwing standards and helps to provide a professional work environment both in-house and on job sites. A successful Warehouse Lead displays leadership and management skills for both short and long-term success and is committed to maintaining excellent standards in customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and mentor employees by establishing expectations, and coaching,
• Forecast staffing needs and pursue additional support with the Site Manager as needed.
• Conduct daily briefings to delegate tasks and communicate company expectations to staff.
• Take lead on the completion of Internal sub hires, gear transfers, and dry rentals.
• Ensure accurate intake and return of all sub hires.
• Collaborate with Department heads to determine priorities and tasks to ensure timely prep of shows.
• Maintain the physical condition of the campus by working with the site manager and spearheading building improvements and repairs as needed.
• Call and oversee multiple truck packs in the shop and on site.
• Use various computer systems to assist forecasting needs and conflicts.
• Lead and direct warehouse staff, and Freelance crews to complete projects.
• Conduct both annual and 90-day reviews.
• Report all safety concerns to management.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications:

• Five (5) years working experience in the entertainment industry in warehouse environments preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of equipment in Clearwing inventory.
• Forklift, Boom Lift, and Scissor Lift certified.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• OSHA 30
• Lead a large crew and understand union/house rules.
• Current knowledge of industry standards and technology
• Valid Drivers' License and Clean MVR.
• Willingness to travel (occasionally on short notice)

Physical Working Conditions:

• Regularly bend, twist, stretch, push, pull and carry, lift 50-75 lbs.
• Sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Walk up and down stairs or ladders and comfortable with heights.
• Work in various temperatures and outdoor weather conditions.
• Work "on-call" as needed including some nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Work long hours and overtime as required.
