Job Summary:

Performs various tasks related to accurate receipt, staging,storage, transfer, and delivery of HVAC equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all inbound and outbound shipments

  • Scheduling incoming freight from factory around dailyactivities

  • Log inbound freight(UPS, Federal Express, Airborne,DHL)

  • Log outbound shipments including specific detail (shipdate, transporter, etc.)

  • Coordinate with local and regional freight companies(setup times, hot shots, etc.)

  • Stocking and arranging of product to ensure warehouseturns of inventory

  • Maintain cleanliness of warehouse

  • Loading and unloading of freight with forklift

  • Maintenance and upkeep for forklifts and otherwarehouse equipment

  • Maintain office and warehouse supplies required foreffective operation

  • Coordinate yearly warehouse inventory

  • Primary contact for warehouse, customer service andlocal transportation issues

  • All other duties as assigned

Key competencies:

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills

  • Proven ability to follow through on commitments anddetails

  • Strong computer skills (proficient in Microsoft Office& Windows '95/'97 software)

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonalcommunication skill

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Proven team player

Education/Experience:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required

  • Current fork lift certification

Special Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs on a continuous basis

  • Must be able to operate forklift and drive backwards

  • Must be able to bend, twist, stoop, and reach overhead

  • Must be able to be on your feet for 8-12 hours at atime

  • Must be accessible for after hours on call

Job Summary: Lead and performs various tasks related to accurate receipt, staging, storage,transfer, and delivery of Light Commercial HVAC equipment. Responsibilities (other duties asassigned): * Primary contact for warehousing, customer service, andlocal transportation issues * Using material handling equipment, inbound and outboundshipments, loads and unloads trucks, locates and picks material into/outof warehouse racks and between locations, Log inbound freight(UPS,Federal Express, Airborne, DHL) * Work with local and regional freight companies (setuptimes, hot shots, etc.) * Safely operates assigned material handling equipment.Ensures that all equipment in use has been inspected and is in safeoperating condition. Reports all accidents and unsafe conditions tosupervisor. * Stocking and arranging of product to ensure warehouseturns of inventory * Determines accurate material quantities by cyclecounting * Receives material into inventory, move material byquantity between designated locations, and locate/pick material to/fromwarehouse locations as required. Ensures accurate part number, quantity,and other data fields entries that impact electronic records of receipts,inventories, location; Resolves discrepancies with material quantities,part numbers; * Locates parts insuring that pallets are stable,observing pallet heights, material, racking and equipment are not damaged,and material is not left in aisles. * Satisfies demands of internal customers to include thetimely delivery or removal of designated materials to or from thesupported shop.
