Our Warehouse Technician I - Direct Distribution plays a crucial role in the accurate and timely shipment of compounded pharmaceutical products directly to customers. This position involves preparing, packaging, and managing inventory of pharmaceutical products, utilizing carrier shipping systems, maintaining shipping records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The Warehouse Technician - Direct Distribution I collaborates with the customer service team to address shipping-related issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing shipping processes and enhancing operational efficiency. This is a full-time role for our 2nd shift, working Monday through Friday from 2PM to 10:30PM. This is a set, consistent schedule with minimum overtime requirements and based on site in our Bloomsbury, NJ location. This is a safety sensitive position that may be subject to random drug testing, in accordance with applicable laws.
What the Warehouse Technician I - Direct Distribution Does Each Day:
Support direct distribution of customer orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
Pick and package compounded pharmaceutical products for direct shipment, coordinating with the warehouse team for timely fulfillment
Manage inventory of released compounded products and packaging materials
Utilize carrier shipping software for label creation, package tracking, and scheduling pickups
Maintain accurate shipping records, inspect outgoing shipments, and address issues
Follow safety protocols for handling and shipping pharmaceutical products, collaborating with quality assurance for compliance
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize shipping processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiency
Our Most Successful Warehouse Technicians I - Direct Distribution:
Are detail oriented and organized
Able to shift gears at a moment's notice
Have good communication and customer service skills
Minimum Requirements for this Role:
A High School diploma or equivalent
Able to successfully complete a drug and background check
Familiarity with and comfortable using mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, handhelds
Able and willing to walk, stoop, stand, bend, and lift throughout each shift, with or without accommodation
18+ years of age
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; QuVa will not sponsor applicants for work visas
1-2 years of experience in anyone, or combination of the following: Distribution, Warehousing, Shipping, Receiving, Logistics, Material handling, Customer Service, Inventory Control, or other comparable service line
Completion of picking, packing, and closing competency assessments
Any of the Following Will Give You an Edge:
Basic computer and data entry skills
AS400 and INFOR or other ERP experience
Microsoft Office Suite
UPS WorldShip experience
Knowledge of discrete batch manufacturing in pharmaceutical or related field
