Position: Warehouse Team Leader
Location: Santa Fe Warehouse

Hours of work: Monday-Friday 7:30-4:00 PM; regular daylight hours with overtime as necessary
The Warehouse Team Leader is a working, task-oriented position with additional responsibilities to lead and coordinate team members in day-to-day warehouse activities to achieve objectives which are compatible with the safety, quality and environmental standards set for the facility. An additional responsibility is to act as a backup for the Warehouse Manager (WM) by supervising the activities of employees at Warehouse when WM is not available.
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to)
Maintain a positive work environment with clear / positive communication skills and customer service levels for both external and internal customers including warehouse team members and Field Service
Ensure compliance with corporate safety and environmental procedures.
Maintains technical knowledge by attending Safety meetings, reviewing JSP/procedures
Perform BBO and other safety audits are required
Maintains forklifts, Hurricane 500 EM and equipment
Completing preventive maintenance requirements
Responsible to execute warehouse work activities in a safe and environmentally compliant facility
Activities include shipping/receiving, bulk transfer operations, customer order preparation, inventory management, good housekeeping in all areas of the facility and maintains quality service by following organization standards
Responsible for inventory control including, accurate receiving, order count and outbound shipment verification
In addition, follow FIFO lot picking, monthly cycle counts and annual physical inventory preparation
Ensure compliance with SAP transactions
Effective utilization of warehouse storage capacity and equipment and compliance with required warehouse standards (food grade facility, NSF, etc.)
Coordinate the day-to-day warehouse assignments and lead team members in execution to ensure daily tasks and targets are met
Full knowledge of all job functions and duties
Be able & willing to step into any position when needed for job completion
When the Warehouse Manager (WM) is not on site, assume all responsibilities of the managers to ensure activities are executed in timely, accurate, safe and environmentally compliant manner
This includes supervising the activities of employees' priorities, planning workload, and resource availability to meet agreed upon customer & field service requirements
Perform all necessary SAP transactions and generate proper documentation for receiving and shipments
Maintain office equipment and complete housekeeping duties as required
Maintain safety and HR information as required
Assume other duties as instructed by the warehouse manager
Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent is required
An associates degree or equivalent is preferred
0-2 years of supervisory experience is required
2-3 years of computer experience is required
3-5 years of forklift experience is required
5-7 years of warehouse/operations experience is required
SAP knowledge is preferred
