We are a Parts Store and SO much more and we are looking for even more great talent to join our NAPA family! We have lots of parts available to our customers and this role as a Warehouse Team Lead plays a major part in ensuring that these parts get from our warehouse/stockroom to our stores, but also leading and motivating a team of awesome Warehouse Associates. Although our warehouse roles are not customer facing roles, you will play a critical part in our customers lives by leading a team of associates who have a primary goal of getting the right part(s) from our warehouses into our stores and businesses! What you'll be doing:

  • Drive daily warehouse operations and service levels to assure accurate and timely end

  • processing of customer orders

  • Build, guide and develop an engaged, high performance warehouse team focused on checkered flag customer service

  • Map out plans to organize products within the warehouse and chart a course for assembling and loading customer orders with safety, precision and speed

  • Consistently steer toward continuous improvement in processes and procedures

  • Inspect, protect and maintain company facilities, equipment, vehicles and all other assets

  • Manage daily stockroom operations and service levels to assure accurate and timely end processing of customer orders

  • Display pride in leading a warehouse recognized for safety and cleanliness

What you'll need:

  • Previous Managerial and/or logistics, supply chain experience.

  • Confident leader, support of Warehouse Manager and decision maker who demonstrates fairness in all customer and employee interactions

  • High energy, personal drive, and self-motivation to accomplish business goals

  • Effective communicator, attention to detail, strong multi-tasker and organizational skills

  • Computer skills in order to track, analyze and manage business results

  • Previous Managerial and/or logistics, supply chain experience

  • Able to write legibly and be able to read, understand written/verbal instructions, and communicate to other team members.

Responsibilities for All Stores * Attend to customers in a timely, courteous, and professional manner. * Operate cash register, collect, verify, maintain proper cash levels and report all moneys due to the company. * Complete customer transactions accurately and efficiently, and ensure compliance with applicable age restricted product regulations such as lottery, tobacco, and alcohol. * Report any problems with customers (such as non-payment, loitering, etc.) to store manager immediately and take action according to policy. * Ensure the proper execution of Rutter's Restaurant program including food safety procedures. * Performs duties at multiple workstations (e.g., register, food prep, make table, expediter, etc.) * Complete all store housekeeping functions (i.e., dusting, sweeping, mopping, cleaning restrooms, emptying trash, etc.). * Stock and maintain inventory levels as required throughout the store. * Ensure the proper execution of all assigned store level marketing programs. * Demonstrate team-oriented approach through words and actions. * Comply with all company policies at all times. Additional Responsibilities for VGT Stores * Monitor the VGT room at all times and card patrons who appear to be under the age of 27. * See VGT binder at the store for full description of responsibilities. Essential Functions for All Stores * Must be at least 16 years of age. * Talk, hear, read, write, and comprehend English. * Ability to use a PC and/or other electronics. * Able to work flexible hours/days to support business hours and needs. * Able to work holidays and weekends. * Ability to be at work on time when scheduled. * Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment. * High energy, positive attitude and excellent customer service skills. * Interact productively with co-workers and function well in a team environment. * May be required to obtain RAMP certification *Beer/Wine locations only. Additional Essential Functions for VGT Stores * Required to obtain occupational license or permit issued by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. * Must be willing to travel to other nearby VGT locations.
