Warehouse Supervisor role at Winc
Our East Coast Distribution Center is looking for a supervisor to lead a team of 20-
25 employees through all aspects of daily order fulfillment/production. The
supervisor will establish and modify daily work schedules, monitor employee
attendance, and assist with appropriate performance related coaching as needed.
This role will be instrumental in developing a world-class facility by being safety
conscious, utilizing lean manufacturing techniques, and leading our team with a
What you'll do:
Manage day-to-day order fulfillment and shipping schedules
Schedule and supervise employees to ensure all work is completed on time
Manage workflow of product and look for areas of improvement across the
Complete regular performance evaluations for direct reports
Contribute warehouse information to overall strategic plans and reviews
Implement production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards
as they relate to the distribution center
Resolve problems that arise on the floor
Create an environment that supports and advocates the customer
Work to maintain and follow warehouse safety protocols and procedures alongside leadership team.
What this role needs:
At least 2 years of experience supervising large teams
Warehouse Management Systems experience (we use Snapfulfill, so if you've
used it before, even better!)
Computer-savvy and able to learn new systems quickly
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Ability to stand for long periods of time including stooping, bending and
Ability to lift minimum of 40lbs.
Experience provide training, coaching, and discipline to employees
Previous experience with inventory management and replenishment
Able to work overtime as required
