Warehouse Supervisor - Weekend Shift

As a Warehouse Supervisor you will be trusted to lead a diverse team of line coordinators, area leads, and operators at our Manufacturing Facility in Houston, TX!

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Continuously monitoring work areas for good safety and housekeeping practices; identifying, resolving, and reporting safety hazards.

• Creating a positive work environment that engages associates and enables and rewards strong performance.

• Managing HR activities such as performance appraisals, training, interviewing, counseling, and staff and resource utilization.

• Providing front line supervision, leadership, and work direction to warehouse teams, including time and attendance, performance management, training oversight and development.

• Interfacing and coordinating with other departments to determine priorities and accomplish shared objectives.

• Tracking, evaluating, controlling, and reporting on key performance indicators.

• Managing multiple priorities, and effectively holding others accountable for results.

• Monitoring, analyzing, and recommending/implementing improvements to better utilize labor, raw materials, and equipment.

What you'll bring to Alcon:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +8 yrs; Assoc.+ 4 yrs)

• The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.

• Work Hours: Weekend Shift (10 hours): Thursday - Sunday (5:00 AM - 3:00 PM)

• Travel Requirements: 0 - 5%

• Relocation Assistance: None
