Job Description:


The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for providing general supervision to employees in order fulfillment, distribution center. This role will also be responsible for receiving, storing, delivering items and securing the warehouse. The Warehouse Supervisor will use various operations reports to accurately record and measure metrics to ensure efficient production levels.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure the receiving, storage and restocking of product purchases from suppliers and other sources

  • Direct the filling, loading and checking of product orders for retail customers through the management of Warehouse Workers

  • Train new Warehouse Lead Workers or Warehouse Workers and ensures understanding of organization and operation policies and service guidelines

  • Ensure proper inventory, receiving, storage and billing and filling of orders to retail customers

  • Participate in the maintenance of accurate inventory through weekly inventory cycle counts and full physical inventories as directed

  • Supervise warehouse workers to ensure timely report of products billed to retailers but not shipped to issue timely preparation of credit memos

  • Coach, direct and counsel warehouse workers on overall performance

  • Define productivity expectations and monitors progress regularly

  • Conduct meetings with warehouse lead workers

  • Report on building security, vehicle security, warehouse loading productivity driver efficiency and check-in procedures/control

  • Direct the replenishment of items/quantities sold daily

  • Identify and recommends opportunities for employee development and performance improvement requirements

  • Participate in the recruitment and hiring of warehouse/delivery personnel

  • Assist with evening scheduling for night warehouse operations

  • Attend monthly safety meetings

  • Participate in the online training courses each quarter

  • Achieve all operational performance metrics as required

  • Maintain safe working environment according to company and OSHA regulations

  • Perform other related duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and five years of experience or equivalent education and related experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong organization, multi-tasking and time management skills

  • Valid state motor vehicle operator's license

  • Ability to obtain and maintain auto-liability insurance in accordance with State laws

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills - written, verbal, persuasion, motivation, facilitation of strong working relationships

  • Knowledge of other MS Office Suite and/or software applications related to job functions

  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical/problem solving, problem management, presentation development, presentation, and communications skills

  • Demonstrated knowledge of SAP system or similar system

  • Working knowledge of safety management principles and OSHA regulations

Physical Demands

  • Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine

  • Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping

  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs

Primary Immune / Ig Sales Specialists leverage specialized knowledge, skills, and services of the organization to assist with coordination of infusion care for patients with complex health care needs to provide a comprehensive, coherent, and continuous response to a patient's unique care needs. To facilitate the appropriate delivery of health care services, this role works with internal and external resources needed to carry out all required patient care activities, and is often managed by the exchange of information among participants responsible for different aspects of care. If you are located in the Louisiana or Mississippi area, you will have the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: * Identifies prospective, high volume clients in target groups for assigned area. Secures appointments and qualifies these accounts * In conjunction with Optum Infusion Services overall marketing plan, makes a sales plan with specific target accounts and sales objectives * Upon approval of the plan, is responsible for the successful accomplishment of this plan including representing Optum Infusion Services and achieving budgetary goals set forth * Insures that branch staff are informed of all target accounts and specific client needs in order to insure proper servicing of the client * Conducts follow - up on all maintenance accounts to ascertain continued satisfaction with Optum Infusion Services and identify areas to increase business * Responsible for problem - solving issues with referral sources and other hospital or clinic - based programs related to the delivery of home infusion and all related support services * Shares in the responsibility for administrative management of system - wide quality assurance monitoring programs, including managing of clinical database information and related work * Serve as liaison between the account and the branch to facilitate communication and resolve problems if they occur * Routinely conducts quality assurance activities through reviews, meetings, reports and observation of results, according to professional practice standards and regulatory compliance * Evaluates and monitors program needs, identifies unmet needs and works with referral source and internal partners to revise services as program needs change.
